Wind Resistance

GALAXY™ offers a range of roof designs to handle high and excessive wind speeds. The GALAXY™ ater storage tank can be designed and built to withstand the full force of a tropical cyclone (as defined AS1170.2) and meet winds up to 200 kph (to ASCE 7-02).

Please Note: For your tank to have a full wind rating, the tank must be anchored to the correct size concrete ring beam. (Ring beam details are available on request). Larger roof platforms and some roof ancillaries may not be able to be placed on these roofs without special design.
